Chin chin is a very crunchy W. African snack. The main ingredients are flour, butter/margarine, sugar, milk, water, nutmeg and sometimes eggs. Every traditional chin chin recipe has to have some or all those ingredients. I thought about adding more flavors or even creating another type of chin chin aside from the traditional or coconut chin chin recipes. So I came up with sweet potato chin chin. I love sweet potatoes a lot because it is sweet, nutritious, loaded with fiber and a very helpful food in maintaining weight. This is the most delicious and crunchy chin chin I ever had. It is nutrient dense, less calorie and less greasy. If you want to enjoy a guilt-free snack, this snack is for you.
